Expectations of a Dream Builders Travel Advisor

As a Travel Advisor with Dream Builders Travel, you will guide clients through every stage of their vacation experience—from discovery and booking to seamless organization. Your role requires meticulous management of all travel arrangements, including itineraries, schedules, and trip-specific details. Utilizing our preferred Client Relationship Management (CRM) system to its fullest will be essential for maintaining an organized and detail-oriented workflow.

Our most successful Advisors are proactive, confident, and outgoing. They go beyond simply booking trips—they build meaningful relationships with clients. They possess exceptional interpersonal skills and take genuine joy in delivering outstanding service. Highly motivated and goal-oriented, they demonstrate a strong commitment to their professional responsibilities and consistently strive to exceed client expectations.

What We Expect from You:

• Stay informed about destination updates, including policy changes, new openings, closures, and other relevant information.

• Develop expertise in at least one Dream Builders preferred destination while maintaining well-rounded knowledge of others.

• Adhere to company standards, agency guidelines, and procedures.

• Maintain professionalism in all environments, representing both yourself and the values of our agency.

• Commit to growth by participating in training opportunities to stay at the forefront of the travel industry.

• Collaborate with team members, contributing ideas and solutions to enhance the overall client experience.

• Uphold integrity and transparency, fostering trust and clear communication with clients and colleagues.

• A professional workspace for managing client files, making calls, etc.

• Proficiency in social media and active engagement in digital platforms.

• Ability to market yourself and generate sales leads.

• Prior experience in a sales-driven environment.

 

Fees/ Costs

As an independent contractor, you will have initial start up costs.  Your onboarding fee will include a business email suite/workspace, CRM access, marketing and branding services, and training, among other things all designed to help you succeed.  You may also have state or local business license/registration fees, business cards and supplies, etc.
